About the Author
Christopher A. Ferrara is a prolific writer on Catholic affairs
whose articles and essays have appeared in The Latin Mass
magazine, The Remnant, Christian Order, Catholic
Family News,
The Fatima Crusader
magazine and many other publications, both in the United States and
abroad.
He is a regular columnist for Fatima Perspectives on the World
Wide Web. Mr. Ferrara is co-author of The Great Façade,
a renowned study of the post-Vatican II crisis in the Church, and
Fatima Priest, a biography of Father Nicholas Gruner,
S.T.L. He has been a major contributor to several other
books.
Mr. Ferrara is also an attorney specializing in First Amendment
and civil rights litigation on behalf of Catholics throughout the
country.
He has handled a number of widely publicized cases, including the
federal litigation on behalf of Theresa Schiavo and the landmark
“Nuremberg Files” case, in which he continues to defend the First
Amendment rights of Catholic pro-life advocates.
Mr. Ferrara is a graduate of Fordham College (’73) and Fordham
Law School (’77). In 2004 Mr. Ferrara was the recipient of the
Edmund Burke Award of the National Lawyers Association.
Mr. Ferrara lives in New Jersey with his wife, Wendy, and their
six children.
