As of this date I am on chapter 9. The more I read, the more madder I get; and to think I used to watch EWTN from 1998 to November of 2005. If I knew beforehand what this network was teaching, I would never had watched it. Mother Angelica was a wonderful teacher in her own way... to think that EWTN would sack her from the airways, after all she has done, is the most devastating blow to anyone. I loved Mother Angelica; and to think of the pictures and cards I sent her... In part, I thank you for sending me the book, which I cannot put down. It is amazing what one network can do to ruin the Catholic Faith.

Thank you for the timely book on EWTN. As soon as I opened it, I could not put it down! Years ago, I followed EWTN’s rosary broadcast via shortwave radio. I was always quite tickled that Mother Angelica chose the heart of the “Baptist Belt” to headquarter her operations. Hence, the sadness and disappointment I feel after reviewing the evidence collected in the book.

Receiving Mr. Ferrara’s book was an instance of synchronicity. I was about to order the EWTN channel through satellite, hoping it would be an antidote to the churning flow of violence, pornography and occult that pass for mainstream television. The book illustrated the thorough betrayal that would have resulted had I relied on EWTN as a compass. ...

Please continue to critique television and the internet. Instant information has replaced personal communication. The ideas transmitted via these modes must be scrutinized routinely. It is too easy to sit passively in front of a monitor and absorb uncritically whatever material offered, especially when presented under the banner of the Church.

It is clear, well-written, well-documented, and written in a charitable “flavor”. One omission – If there isn’t one bishop or Cardinal in the world who would write an endorsement or supportive preface to the book – why send it to them free of charge? What is going on in the dioceses and parishes makes EWTN look like a refuge. My vote goes to getting copies to the laity – along with the urgency and necessity of the Consecration of Russia – because this apostasy won’t stop until God’s will is complied with. It could not have arrived at a more opportune time. I am presently in the process of assisting a young man preparing to enter the Church. While reviewing his Catechism, he mentioned that he had been watching EWTN. I had been aware of some of the problems with EWTN, especially with some of the comments being made by Scott Hahn. I warned him to be wary of what was being passed off as Catholic teachings. Now I can justifiably suggest that he not watch it at all. Mr. Ferrara’s book on EWTN furnishes more than enough justification.
